Recreational Areas

Recreational areas include a sports-field, netball court, gymnasium, swimming pool, asphalted area and lawns.

Of particular significance to the middle school students, is the swing bridge adventure playground structure almost concealed from sight in the large trees between the High School and Middle School buildings.

This playground was designed and constructed by Class 12 student, James Higgins, for his graduation project in 2002.

The lower school buildings abut a beautifully landscaped playground for junior classes to enjoy.  Large deciduous trees, many years old, drop leaves for playing amongst and playground equipment is scattered liberally under them.

Fun in the tree at lunch time

The beautiful large trees around the school grounds make for wonderful natural climbing frames.  No matter how cold, or at what time of the year, the branches are laden with climbers enjoying themselves. This picture was taken in Winter on an overcast, nippy day.
