The Future Projects

The Taikura Rudolf Steiner School, just like any other school, has a ‘wish list’ of new buildings and changes that would enhance the current school facilities.  Over forthcoming months the ‘Three Years of Giving’ campaign is expected to be extended to encompass fundraising for one (or more) of the identified projects;

  • A new library suite
  • A new music suite
  • New remedial rooms
  • New handwork rooms
  • A new canteen
  • An all weather hockey turf

 

The Community Campaign

The successful completion of both of these building initiatives is reliant on donations not just from various Charitable Trusts, but also from the wider School / Kindergarten community.  Including in this instance;

  • The Proprietors
  • The Board of Trustees
  • The Teaching Staff
  • The Support Staff
  • The Students, Liaison Parents, Parents, Relations, Friends and Neighbours

 

Three Years of Giving

During 2008, Members of the wider School Community began a campaign to give $x a week for a three year period, the money going toward the school building fund.  The success of this giving is already proving to be invaluable to the building planning process.

As more of the Future Projects become a reality, and plans are made public, Giving Campaigns will be launched to match the selected Project.

The success of the Giving Campaigns will be determined by the acceptance of the giving philosophy and the participation of the entire community.
